Nozawa has no train station, but is
connected by bus to Iiyama and Nagano Dentetsu
lines. From Nagano Station take the Iiyama line to
Togari Nozawa Onsen Station (60 minute journey).
There are trains almost every hour and most trains have
a direct bus connection. The bus ride takes about
20 minutes.
If you take the Nagano Dentetsu Line,
get off at Kijima Station and take the bus to Nozawa.
There are also a few direct buses from Nagano Station
East Exit to Nozawa Onsen.
By car, get off the Joshinetsu
Expressway at Toyama Iiyama IC and take Route 117 to
Nozawa.
There are also some direct buses
travelling directly from Nagano Station to Nozawa Onsen
Village, see timetable below.
