Iwatake is situated to the north of the famous Happo-one, and comes along with superb panoramic views of the Japan Alps. Check out Iwatake for long runs, moguls, and plenty of wide-open runs to suit the beginner and intermediate skiers alike.  There are also some runs that will keep more advanced skiers happy.  Iwatake is a popular mountain amongst snowboarders as there are 2 half pipes and a terrain park. Nordic and cross-country skiing is also fairly popular, and there are some enjoyable trails to be found at the resort. --Special lift rates

--Family Gelende
A special Family Gelende has been prepared for this season (next to number 2 pair lift)

This ski resort is located in front of the highest peak in the Hakuba area. This is one of Hakuba's top spots for rich scenery and openness making it a charming choice.  Iwatake's main run is Sunny Valley. This run is suited for beginners to intermediate level skiers and is 3.8 km long.
