The concept behind ARAI MOUNTAIN
& SNOW PARK has been to continuously transplant the
best of the European and North American ski industries
to these shores. No expense has been spared in bringing
this concept to you through involving top
architects/course designers and former Olympians with
the hands on practical experience provided through our
sister resort from Colorado U.S.A., Vail Resorts, Inc.
Our five star facilities have been enhanced by an
extensive development of our “weather independent”
offerings including our brand new Kids Playground and
Manna Esthetics Spa. Such services have been designed
particularly with the foreign community in mind. You
could be an engineer curious about our heated plaza, a
Micro Brewery fan, or a parent wanting to show your
family how the other half lives but in a child friendly
environment. It is all here for you year round at ARAI
MOUNTAIN & SNOW PARK.
Courses designed by those at the top
of their field and facilities to match don’t mean much
however without the ongoing human touch, and this is
where ARAI MOUNTAIN & SNOW PARK really manages to
stand out from the crowd. It’s not even enough to have
a wide variety of specialized restaurants featuring
sumptuous dishes and tasty beverages featuring only the
finest ingredients. Bilingual staff, signs and menus
make the difference however to ensure that one is sure
to have a relaxing and enjoyable stress free visit at
ARAI MOUNTAIN & SNOW PARK from start to finish.
Our staff has three especially
attractive human qualities for foreigners residing in
Japan who would like to visit us:
| |
We have
an on-site native English speaker that can answer
your questions and concerns via e-mail (blanderson@ari.moritagrp.com); |
| |
Our
full time staff has not only trained extensively
overseas in their various fields, but keep the
English teacher on his toes by bombarding him with
questions and translations 24/7; |
| |
Each
fall potential winter employees are screened for
their English ability and the top 300 descend on
ARAI MOUNTAIN & SNOW PARK from all areas of
Japan. With them comes not only essential vitality
to tame Mt. Ohgenashi but also current English
acquired during summers spent skiing overseas. |
Of course, we first take English
seriously here for you the customer, but another motive
are our events. The first big one is our annual World
Cup Mountain Bike event held each summer. There is
nothing quite like 150 of the worlds top MTB racers and
their crews to get the English flowing among our staff.
Also, for the past five white seasons we have held the
Arai Legends Charity Ski Race. This premier event brings
the Olympian Legends to our slopes for a long weekend of
thrills and fun all in the name of a good cause.
Curious? Come and see it for
yourself. We’re looking forward to showing you some of
the best snow that Japan has to offer in an
international environment.
